Current Openings:

Junior IT Specialist: Under supervision, install, configure, service, repair, and maintain end user PCs and information technology systems in both a stand­alone and client/server environment. Install, configure, service, repair, and maintain hardware and software for network services, storage networking devices, and servers. Integrate multiple information systems in a networked environment, evaluate and resolve customer information system problems, effect required hardware upgrades and repair to maintain business continuity. Install and configure wireless hubs, routers, switches, and various transmission media, server hardware and software, and ensure the proper installation and configuration of workstation hardware and software for efficient operation on the network. Install, optimize and troubleshoot Local Area and Wide Area Networks.

Minimum Qualifications: High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED), 2 year of experience with IT support, including installation of hardware and software, configuration of systems, and IT issue resolution. Familiar with Internet Protocol version 4 and 6 (IPv4 and IPv6), troubleshooting of common user problems with Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server editions, Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN), Virtual Private Network (VPN), and Network Address Translation (NAT).

Preferred Qualifications: Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) A+ certification, Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), or a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification

Minimum Qualifications: Four year college degree with a relative degree, familiarity with the installation of hardware and software, configuration of systems, and IT issue resolution. Familiar with Internet Protocol version 4 and 6 (IPv4 and IPv6), troubleshooting of common user problems with Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server editions, Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN), Virtual Private Network (VPN), and Network Address Translation (NAT).

Preferred Qualifications: Computer Science/Information Systems Degree from accredited 4 year college/university, Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) A+ certification, Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), or a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification
